Does your present health policy have a deductible carry-over provision? If so, and assuming you have not already satisfied your deductible for this calendar year, you should consider putting off any elective medical treatments and procedures, or prescription refills, until the final quarter, so that any covered charges will count towards satisfying your deductible for both this year and next. (Refer to your policy for specific information.)
